Life’s A Chore Logic Puzzle

EASY 4x5

Living in a sharehouse of five university students can be chaotic... especially when no one wants to do the chores. After a recent particularly disastrous week, featuring a sink full of dishes and a suspiciously sticky floor, the flatmates in question finally agreed to a cleaning and chores roster. They even decided to have one person meal-prep for the week! Each person was assigned a different chore on a specific day, but the first week has just passed and of course life (and uni deadlines) had other plans. Everyone had a unique excuse for missing their task, though! Can you figure out who was scheduled for which chore on which day, and what creative excuse they came up with?

Clues

1) Cassian works a 12 hour shift on Thursdays and did not choose that day for his rostered chore.
2) When the roster was first created and the others had already been allocated, Logan and Harper decided their tasks by a coin toss. One was assigned to do the yard work, and the other sighed upon learning they would be scrubbing the shower and toilet.
3) The hallway floor remained sticky all week, on account of the person on mopping duty spending the day out of the house because a friend was visiting town. Or so they said.
4) One of the flatmates - not Cassian - grew up preparing meals for a large family, so it was only natural they were assigned to groceries and food prep. This is rostered for every Tuesday.
5) One flatmate claimed to have become locked out of the house on their designated chore day, having lost their keys and found no one else was home. This wasn't Harper, Amanda, or the person whose chore was scheduled for Wednesday.
6) Billy felt a little bad that he let the flatmates down by failing to do his assigned task on Wednesday, but he felt his reason was more valid than Harper's, which was earlier in the week.
7) Neither Logan nor Cassian claimed they skipped their chore day because they needed to fix their computer. The person who did miss their rostered duty on account of needing to deal with a critical hard drive failure was not the one assigned to cleaning the kitchen.
8) One flatmate claimed to have forgotten an exam, and apologized to the others that they had to spend the entire day studying and couldn't do their chore. This was either on Tuesday or Thursday. They weren't the person scheduled to clean the bathroom or the kitchen.
9) On Monday, the first day of the new roster, one flatmate spent the day in bed, quickly jumping in the group chat to explain that food poisoning was holding them back from cleaning. However, everyone else remembered them being in very good spirits after winning beer pong the night before.
