Local residents have found evidence of his path, but officers scribbled down bits of information in a rush. 6) A cigarette butt in the suspect's favorite brand was found at the mile marker one mile less than where the strands of hair were found.
7) The murder weapon was found at mile marker 86. It was purchased earlier that day and still had a price sticker on the handle.
